LUDOVICA

A Magazine about Fashion, Gastronomy and People.

Brand Design, Ad Campaigne - Brazil

Ludovica is a magazine created by one of the most influential media groups of the central part of Brazil. It is a magazine that is focused on fashion, gastronomy and personalities. The whole identity was inspired by the ArtDeco movement, also called moderate style, in the decorative arts and architecture that originated in the 1920s and developed into a great style in Western Europe and United States during the 1930s.

Art Deco design represented modernism transformed into fashion. Its products included both individual luxury items and mass-production items, but in both cases the idea was to create an elegant, antitraditional elegance that symbolized wealth and sophistication. This movement also influenced the architecture of Goiania city, where the magazine was created and is present in buildings and elements spread throughout the city.  Colors, photography and supporting graphics also follow the patterns of time and blend with more contemporary trends.
